KBR is seeking a Sr. Principal Designer for CATS & SPECS Piping to lead development and governance of piping catalogs and specifications in AVEVA E3D and related tools. You will drive data quality, standardization, and cross‑discipline alignment across engineering, procurement, and design teams.

We require extensive piping design and catalog management experience, strong knowledge of codes, and the ability to mentor designers while improving 3D design workflows globally from our Belgium site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping catalogs and specifications for industrial projects.
• Extensive experience with AVEVA E3D Catalogs & Specifications preferred.
• Experience with PDMS, SP3D or equivalent 3D design platforms is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of piping engineering principles, materials, standards, and codes.
• Experience maintaining piping class libraries and specification databases.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, line lists, and equipment data sheets.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and administer piping catalogs and specifications in AVEVA E3D and related platforms.
• Configure and manage piping data to support project execution across disciplines.
• Ensure consistency and quality of catalog/spec data across projects.
• Create and maintain piping class libraries and reference data.
• Coordinate with engineering, materials, procurement, and design teams to implement project requirements.
• Support setup, validation, and troubleshooting of piping specs in 3D design systems.
• Lead best practices for catalog/spec management and data governance.
• Provide mentorship to designers on catalog/spec development.
