Harvey Nash seeks a freelance Network Designer/Architect to design and manage Juniper-based hub-and-spoke networks in Brussels. The role requires on-site presence two days per week and strong expertise in Juniper SRX and Cisco routing & switching.

You will work with architects and engineers to ensure secure, resilient, and scalable network solutions. The design authority will guide lifecycle projects, coordinate with vendors, and support testing activities on the BE testbed infrastructure to

Qualifications

Strong Juniper SRX and Cisco Routing & Switching experience.
Ability to design and manage lifecycle projects for Juniper/Cisco hub-and-spoke architecture.
On-site presence 2 days per week in Belgium (Brussels area).
Support testing, validation and implementation activities on BE testbed infrastructure.

Responsabilités

Contribute to development of network architecture and technology solutions with stakeholders.
Provide expert design guidance ensuring security, operational, and standards conformity.
Act as senior escalation point for complex network issues and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with vendors and cybersecurity teams on remediation actions and patches.
Lead design reviews for small to medium initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Engage with customers and partners to review designs and stay updated on new technologies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network architecture and cybersecurity trends.
