AM-TEAM Ghent is seeking a water‑passionated engineer to translate data and models into real value for customers at a global scale. You will join our technical team and interact with sales to connect modelling work with practical outcomes.

We value hands-on experience in the water or wastewater sector, a MSc in environmental engineering, and fluency in English. Hybrid office/home work and a competitive package await the right candidate in Belgium.

A technical role that makes models and digital twins deliver lasting value at the global scale

We’re looking for a water‑passionated person that loves combining the water and wastewater treatment side with data, models and digital twins. This role focuses on translating models and data into real value for end customers at the global scale. Beyond the buzz, you will be working in our technical team and will also be interacting regularly with our sales team.

Profiel

• Has at least 3 years of water or wastewater industry or relevant academic experience related to working with data, mechanistic modelling or hybrid modelling projects.
• Has an MSc in (environmental/bioscience or relevant) engineering. Has strong understanding of water treatment processes and associated modelling / data handling of those.
• Preferably has specific expertise in data science applications for (waste)water treatment.
• Is willing to be working from our office in Ghent, Belgium.
• Has good communication skills and can explain complex matter to customers.
• Is fluent in English, both written and orally - knowledge of another language is a plus.
