Arbalett in Belgium is seeking a Safety Manager/CP1 to lead health and safety initiatives within an international manufacturing setting. The role reports to the group’s international head management and requires coordinating multiple HSE teams on site.

You will drive safety procedures across departments, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to a strong safety culture through training and proactive leadership. A company car, insurance, and bonus accompany a competitive gross salary.

Qualifications

• Holder of Level 1 Health and Safety Advisor qualification.
• Experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to manage technical and socio-technical projects.
• Good coordination, leadership and communication to raise awareness.
• Proficient in English (reading/writing).

Responsabilités

On behalf of one of our clients, an international manufacturing company, we are seeking a Safety Manager/CP1. You will join a growing organisation with a positive working atmosphere. The company counts over 2000 employees.

You will report to the group’s international head management.

As manager, you will have to coordinate different HSE teams.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of senior management’s health and safety policy and roll out related projects;
• Work with the various departments within the factory to optimise safety procedures;
• Actively contribute to the development of a health, safety and environmental culture through initiatives led and carried out on site;
• Promote responsible behaviour through direct contact with on-site staff or via media channels;
• Monitor and keep up to date with the relevant regulations governing the factory’s areas of activity and ensure the implementation of new legislation.
• Supervise statutory safety measurements and inspections, as well as the compliance of machinery and work equipment with applicable standards and regulations;
• Contribute to the development and/or delivery of training in the field of safety.

Your profile

• Hold a Level 1 Health and Safety Advisor qualification.
• Have proven experience working in an industrial environment.
• With strong analytical and synthesis skills, you enjoy managing technical and socio-technical projects.
• Coordination skills, as well as your leadership and communication skills in raising awareness.
• Good command of English (primarily reading and writing).
