Senior Hardware Engineer in Liège, Belgium, is wanted to join an electronics development team. The role covers the full hardware design lifecycle from specification through production, focusing on high-speed interfaces, FPGA-based systems, and robust power delivery with EMC compliance.

You will collaborate with a strong hardware group, contribute to simulations, lab testing, and layout using modern EDA tools; fluency in French and professional English are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in electronic board design with high-speed interfaces, FPGA, power supplies and EMC.
• Hands-on SI/PI simulation experience.
• Analog design and SPICE simulation experience.
• Strong lab measurement and debugging skills.

Responsabilités

• Work on high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen4-6, DDR4/5 and high-speed SerDes.
• Lead FPGA-based system design and schematic/layout tasks.
• Design power supplies and ensure EMC compliance.
• Perform SI/PI simulations (HyperLynx or equivalent) and SPICE analyses.
• Develop analog circuits and validate with lab measurements and debugging.

A growing engineering company based in Liège, active in advanced sensing and data-transmission technology, is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their electronics development team.

The company designs high-performance embedded systems used in demanding industrial and scientific applications, built around cutting-edge high-speed interfaces.

You'll join a strong hardware engineering team and take part in all stages of hardware design — from specification through to production.

What you'll be working on

• High-speed digital interfaces: PCIe Gen4-6, (LP)DDR4/5, 100G Ethernet, high-speed serial links
• FPGA-based system design
• Power supply design and EMC compliance
• Signal integrity and power integrity simulation (Hyperlynx or equivalent)
• Analog circuit design and SPICE simulation
• Schematics and layout using Altium Designer or equivalent

Your profile

• Master's or PhD in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years' experience in electronic board design, with strong exposure to high-speed digital interfaces, FPGA, power supplies and EMC
• Hands‑on experience with SI/PI simulation tools
• Analog design and SPICE simulation experience
• Strong lab measurement and debugging skills
• Experience with a PLM system is a plus
• Mechanical/thermal design exposure is a plus
• Fluent French required; professional English
