Koda Staff partners with an innovative technology business in Antwerp seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and scale modern web applications. You’ll own features end-to-end and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years frontend experience, deep React/TypeScript knowledge, and familiarity with Next.js, testing, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial frontend experience.
• Minimum 6 years with React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of building products end-to-end and owning significant features from inception to release.
• Experience working within product-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and design patterns.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.
• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in scale-up or fast-growing technology environments.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based architecture.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Take ownership of features throughout the product lifecycle from discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Drive frontend architecture decisions and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Ensure applications are performant, accessible, secure, and maintainable.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentorship of less experienced developers.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to product innovation by sharing ideas and identifying opportunities for improvement.
