Scalable Capital is a leading digital investment and banking platform across Europe. We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to design and build powerful UIs for transaction monitoring, corporate actions, and dashboards.

You will work in a React/TypeScript stack with strong emphasis on reusable components, design systems, and testable architecture. You’ll collaborate with backend and platform engineers to translate complex workflows into clean, accessible interfaces and contribute to a cloud‑native

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum frontend development experience with React, Typescript, Next.js, Cypress.
• Strong passion for outstanding UI/UX, web performance, and accessibility.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively.
• Excellent written and verbal English for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience with AWS or another cloud provider is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be a key member of one of our product teams responsible for designing and building powerful, intuitive UIs that support critical processes, from transaction monitoring to corporate action workflows and operational dashboards. Our frontend stack is built on React and TypeScript, with strong foundations in component reuse, design systems, and testable architecture.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand complex workflows and translate them into well-structured, maintainable user interfaces.

This role is a great fit if you care about clean UX even in utility-driven environments, enjoy working closely with backend and platform engineers, and want to make a direct impact on the scalability and efficiency of a fast‑growing fintech company.

Responsibilities:

• You work with cutting-edge technologies and participate in modern software development practices (e.g., agile and self‑managed teams, continuous integration and deployment, test automation, cloud‑based infrastructure, and tooling).
• Engage with our cloud‑native, DevOps‑enabled infrastructure, utilizing AWS services like ECS, Fargate, Lambda among others.
• You write clean, testable, maintainable, and well‑documented code and treat security as a first‑class citizen
• You bring products to production and reveal real business value
• You can improve engineering excellence in the team

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., computer science, engineering) or a comparable qualification
• Previous work experience in frontend development, in technologies like Typescript, React, NextJs, Cypress, WebPack, Material Design, Express, HTML5, CSS3
• A strong passion for outstanding UI/UX, web performance, and accessibility
• Ability to think outside the box and to work independently
• Analytical proficiency, both in the technical and in the product domain
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - engineering, product, or other stakeholders
• Practical experience in AWS or another cloud provider
• Professional proficiency in English
• Experience using coding agents (e.g., Codex or similar AI‑assisted development tools) is a plus.
