BDO International Limited in Belgium seeks a Senior Financial Data Consultant (Dutch speaker) to combine traditional audit with data-enabled analytics across client engagements. You will split time between core audit work and building analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, Python) to improve audit quality and guide junior colleagues.

The role emphasizes data governance, cross-functional collaboration, and the rollout of analytics across practice, with opportunities for growth in a multinational audit

Qualifications

• Background in Audit, Finance, Data Analytics or related field, with external audit exposure.
• Strong interest in both traditional audit and data-enhanced approaches.
• Fluent Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Collect, structure and process large datasets to support audit objectives.
• Deliver data-driven analytics to support audit conclusions and identify anomalies.
• Perform substantive procedures and analytical reviews with thorough documentation.
• Prepare audit-ready outputs and visualisations (Excel, Power BI, DataEyes).
• Automate recurring analyses and improve analytics workflows.
• Validate data integrity and liaise with client stakeholders to secure datasets.
• Coach junior colleagues on data outputs and analytics usage.
