Quarteom seeks an experienced HVAC engineering lead to manage a small team of engineers and modellers across Belgium sites. You will guide design, ensure budget, schedule and quality, and report progress regularly.

You will contribute to HVAC design decisions, feasibility studies, and cost estimates; collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients; and maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards, BIM tools, and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in the design and engineering of HVAC installations
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills
• Good team player
• Knowledge in Aeraulics & hydraulics: piping, ventilation, thermal energy production
• Knowledge of Dynamic Energy simulations & sustainable solutions
• Knowledge of plumbing is a plus
• Knowledge of BIM software (REVIT, Navisworks, Stabicad, …) is a plus
• Ability to work remotely within a team spread over 3 sites in Belgium

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate, coach and manage a small project team of monodisciplinary technical engineers and modellers for your projects
• Responsible for ensuring that the budget, the timing and the quality of the engineering works is executed as required
• Report progress for all your projects on regular basis
• Participate in the HVAC design of your projects so evaluate the most appropriate technical solutions so making feasibility studies, design principles and detailed engineering so cost estimates
• Respond to the wishes and needs of the client
• Prepare and submit offers and contracts
• Keep up with the standards, guidelines and new techniques and developments in your discipline and report these to your team members or colleagues
• Work together with colleagues, external partners (such as architects, other design and engineering consultancies, contractors during the construction phase, etc.) and clients in a constructive way
• Have an international mindset and collaborate with our offices abroad for certain engineering tasks and take the necessary actions to guarantee the required quality
