Engibex, a Belgian engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Software Integration & Base Software team in Sint-Truiden. You will design, implement, and document software for the eDCT product, working closely with System and Application software teams to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has >5 years in embedded SW development, strong C/C++, Autosar experience, and familiarity with ASPICE, ISO26262/21434, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• >5 years of experience in Embedded SW development
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
• Experience in Autosar configuration
• Experience with automotive software development standards (e.g., ASPICE)
• Good understanding of software architecture principles
• Experience with VECTOR AUTOSAR stack is a plus
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO21434) is a plus
• Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Fluent in English

Responsabilités

• Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities
• Work closely with the SW Verification and Validation team to develop test specifications and write test cases
• Develop new software and maintain existing products
• Collaborate with System and Application software teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Assist in diagnosing software-level issues
