ITProposal in Brussels is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps/Windows System Administrator to manage and support critical IT infrastructure in a highly secure environment. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, automation, security, and enterprise systems administration.

The candidate will administer Windows infrastructure, VMware, SCCM, Exchange, LDAP, and PowerShell; implement EDR and Zero Trust; and contribute to automation and ITIL/Agile

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven professional IT experience.
• Expert knowledge: Windows Server, VMware, SCCM, Exchange, LDAP, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of EDR, Zero Trust, ITIL, and Agile.
• Docker and Linux experience is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in highly secure environments is an advantage.

Responsabilités

Senior DevOps / Windows System Administrator

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps / Windows System Administrator to manage and support critical IT infrastructure in a highly secure environment. The role requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, virtualization, automation, security, and enterprise systems administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Manage and support VMware environments.
• Administer Microsoft SCCM, Exchange, and LDAP services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration.
• Implement and maintain security solutions including EDR and Zero Trust principles.
• Support infrastructure deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Apply ITIL and Agile practices to operational activities.
• Contribute to technical improvements and automation initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of proven professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of: Microsoft Windows, VMware, Microsoft SCCM, Exchange, LDAP, PowerShell.
• Good knowledge of EDR, Zero Trust, ITIL, and Agile.
• Docker and Linux experience is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in highly secure environments is a strong advantage.

Mandatory Conditions

• Belgian nationality required.
• Must hold a Top Secret security clearance or be willing and eligible to obtain one.
• 100% on-site work required; no remote work.
• Native Dutch or French, with good knowledge of the other national language and English.
