Locinox, based in Waregem, Belgium, seeks a Senior Design Engineer to design and improve (electro)mechanical and electronic products across our Fence & Gate Hardware, Gate Automation, and Perimeter categories. You will move concepts to first production, coordinating with product managers and the prototype team.

You bring 10+ years in product design, a degree in Industrial Engineering, and 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks).

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years in product design.
• Strong skills in 3D CAD and concept-to-prototype development.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; hands-on, collaborative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Design and improve (electro)mechanical and electronic products within key categories.
• Brainstorm concepts, create CAD designs, prototype, test, and refine to a successful product.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and production teams on DFM and DFA.
• Lead technical development from concept to first production run in close partnership with Product Manager.
• Share expertise with the project team and drive R&D improvements.
