Exsolvæ invites a Senior Data Scientist to join its Brussels-based AI & ML core. You will design and deploy AI applications that deliver measurable value, from automation to decision support, while owning the full lifecycle from framing use cases to monitoring in production.

You will work in agile squads, present to senior management, and mentor peers within a knowledge-sharing community. A Master’s degree and 5+ years of production experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field; a PhD is an asset.
• Senior profile: minimum 5 years of professional experience in data science and analytics.
• Proven track record of AI applications shipped to production, including at least one agentic AI solution you can detail.
• Expert Python with production-grade code and engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and modern model architectures.
• Tri-lingual: fluent English, fluent French or Dutch, and full proficiency in the other national language.
• Based in Belgium and available on-site in Brussels roughly half the time.
• Desire to contribute to a community and share knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Design and build AI applications that create measurable value for customers and employees, from intelligent automation to decision support.
• Own the full lifecycle: framing use cases with business stakeholders, prototyping, production deployment, monitoring.
• Set up rigorous evaluation: reference datasets, quality metrics and safeguards for production reliability.
• Work in agile squads and present results directly to senior management.
• Share learnings: Cerebro sessions, co-built playbooks, code reviews between Solvers.
• Mentor peers and be mentored: seniors who enjoy sharing knowledge.
