Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Data Analyst to join the reporting and data engineering team. You will translate complex data into actionable insights and robust reporting solutions to support strategic decision-making and product development.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to design datasets, automate reporting processes, and optimize the reporting portfolio using Python, SQL, SAS, Databricks and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting in complex environments.
• 5+ years in dataset development and the creation of reporting solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement, reporting automation, and portfolio optimization.
• Advanced querying and optimization with Python, SQL and SAS.
• Proficiency with Databricks and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 for business reporting tasks.
• Analytical mindset and ability to drive and support change initiatives.
• Proactive, solution-oriented with strong communication and collaboration.
• Fluent English with a fluent level of Dutch or French and a good level of the other.

Responsabilités

• Analyze complex databases to gain relevant insights using advanced manipulation and visualization tools.
• Develop consistent and accurate datasets for new and existing periodic reports.
• Improve and automate data analysis and reporting processes by initiating change management.
• Identify and implement optimization opportunities to rationalize the existing reporting portfolio.
• Support stakeholders with self-service reporting tools to foster a culture of data autonomy.
• Document and analyze reporting requirements to propose and implement suitable data solutions.
