VIQI Group is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer with strong expertise in Cleaning Validation to support a cosmetics client in Belgium. You will join a Validation & Engineering environment and help develop the site's Cleaning Validation strategy for new cleaning installations and equipment.

Your role includes reviewing strategies, defining validation approaches for new systems, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Production and Compliance to ensure a pragmatic, risk-based validation

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Qualification/Validation in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in Cleaning Validation.
• Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Ability to define validation strategies and procedures, not only execute existing protocols.

VIQI is looking for a Senior Validation Engineer with strong expertise in Cleaning Validation to support one of our clients in the cosmetics industry in Belgium.

You will join a Validation & Engineering environment and play a key role in the review and development of the site's Cleaning Validation strategy, in the context of new cleaning installations and equipment.

Your responsibilities

• Review and update the existing Cleaning Validation strategy and procedures
• Define validation approaches for new cleaning systems and equipment
• Support Cleaning Validation activities related to vessels, tanks, pumps, hoses and other production equipment
• Develop and implement new validation procedures and documentation
• Provide technical expertise and challenge validation requirements when necessary
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production and Compliance
• Ensure a robust yet pragmatic risk-based validation approach, adapted to a cosmetics manufacturing environment
• Support the implementation of new cleaning installations currently under development

Your profile

• Engineering or scientific background
• 10+ years of experience in Qualification / Validation within a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong hands‑on experience in Cleaning Validation, ideally acquired over several years
• Solid understanding of cleaning processes and production equipment
• Ability to define validation strategies and procedures, not only execute existing protocols
• Strong autonomy and ability to interact with and challenge senior stakeholders
• Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical or another regulated manufacturing environment
• Fluent Dutch and English are mandatory
• Pragmatic, hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset
