Sia is a next-generation global management consulting group seeking a Senior Consultant in Data Science to drive transformation projects for clients. You will perform modelling and digital transformation tasks, applying machine learning, AI and quantitative methods to business problems.

You will contribute to Sia’s internal initiatives, support business development and lead teams, collaborating with colleagues at all levels in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master in Civil Engineering with focus on applied mathematics or IT.
• 2–6 years’ experience as a consultant.
• Strong interest in data science and AI topics.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
• Willing to take on temporary assignments abroad.

Responsabilités

• Lead transformation projects at client sites, modelling and digital transformation tasks (business/IT analysis and partial coding).
• Develop predictive models using ML/AI and econometrics.
• Contribute to design and implement constraint optimization and large-data processing solutions.
• Support internal initiatives: develop offerings and assist in business development.
• Take up team leadership roles and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Job Description

As a Senior consultant in Data Science, you will be involved in transformation projects at our clients. You will execute project assignments in modelling and digital transformation (business/IT analysis and partial coding) environments with a good deal of business perspectives:

• Machine learning, AI and statistics: developing predictive models of decision making (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis,...)
• Operational research : assistance in the design and implementation of constraint optimization solutions and simulation models
• Big Data : Algorithmic knowledge for large and unstructured data processing

Qualifications

• University Master Civil Engineer (applied mathematics, IT or similar)
• 2 to 6 years’ experience as a consultant
• Outstanding team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong interest in data science and related sectors such as Energy and Finance
• You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.
• Analytical mind, exploring options and able to synthesize into conclusions
• Dynamic, result oriented, rigorous and committed
• Trilingual: French, Dutch and English
• Prepared to participate in temporary assignments abroad
