VITO in Belgium seeks a senior scientific leader to shape the AMO domain within the Water & Energy Transition unit. You will define the scientific and technological roadmap, identify strategic topics, and foster excellence in optimization, AI and data-driven modelling.

You will coach researchers and PhD candidates, build collaborations with universities and industry, and drive proposals to secure funding for future activities, delivering impact in energy, water and environmental systems.

• Translate scientific advances into practical applications for energy, water and environment.
