Keystone Solutions is seeking a SAP Master Data Migration Consultant for a client-site mission in Namur, Belgium. The consultant will configure the SAP Data Services tool to extract, transform, and load data from SAP ECC into S/4HANA, and to create validation reports for data managers.

Responsibilities include data extraction, rule configuration, performance optimization, and documentation of data flows. The role requires strong SAP DS experience and on-site presence with part-time telework

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data manipulation/ETL tools.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP Data Services and migration to S/4HANA.
• Experience in SAP data migration projects from system initialization to production S/4HANA.
• Concrete experience in data extraction/integration, quality checks, cleansing, enrichment and transformation.
• Good understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures across FI, CO, MM, SD, PM/PS, HR.

Mission Overview:

We are seeking a SAP Master Data Migration Consultant to join our team on a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. The consultant will be responsible for configuring the SAP Data Services tool to facilitate the integration of data extracted from SAP ECC and subsequently perform all transformation tasks before loading the data into S/4HANA.

Mission Scope:

The mission encompasses the configuration of the SAP Data Services tool, integration of data extracted from SAP ECC, transformation and enrichment of this data within SAP Data Services, and feeding the staging tables for loading this data into S/4HANA.

Expected Deliverables:

• Define a target trajectory, identify functional/technical gaps, and determine architecture, migration, and governance options to ensure a controlled, secure transition aligned with organizational objectives.
• Initialize the SAP Data Services tool.
• Configure and test the SAP DS tool:
  • Configuration of extractions and selection criteria for data to be extracted from SAP ECC.
  • Configuration of all mapping, transformation, and enrichment rules as communicated by the Migration Consultant and validated by functional teams.
  • Optimize tool performance based on data volumes to be processed.
  • Create reports to reconcile extracted data, data to be migrated, and transformed data (outside of SAP DS).
  • Configure controls to verify data quality before and after transformation.
  • Create reports to facilitate data validation by Data Managers after transformation and before (Note: reports cannot be generated with SAP DS - either manually (csv/excel file) or using PBI or other tools).
  • Document data flows, rules, and transformation processes in technical specifications.
• For each migration run:
  • Launch data extractions.
  • Verify the completeness of extracted data.
  • Simulate and then execute the transformation of this data.
  • Perform checks on transformed data.
  • Produce reports for Data Managers who must validate the data after transformation.
  • Populate the Migration Cockpit staging tables with transformed data.
  • Adjust rules as necessary based on validation feedback collected by the Migration Consultant.
  • Adhere to deadlines mentioned in the migration planning for each run.
  • Suggest any improvements in the data processing workflow.
• Immediately relay any critical issues or potential risks to the Workstream Lead Migration.
• Work closely with the Workstream Lead Migration and the Migration Consultant.
• Provide regular and comprehensive progress reports to the Workstream Lead Migration.
• Under the management of the workstream/Domain lead, collaborate closely with the project team and internal SAP teams to understand needs, identify process improvement opportunities, and propose suitable SAP solutions.
• Under the management of the Lead Architect, provide architectural solutions and necessary information for the design and construction of processes within the requested project scopes.

Profile Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data manipulation/ETL tools.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (in its latest versions) and migration to S/4HANA.
• Experience in SAP data migration projects, from system initialization to data migration in the production S/4HANA environment during the execution of the Cutover plan.
• Concrete experience in the following SAP Data Services functions:
  • Mastery of data extraction/integration execution.
  • Concrete experience in data quality control (via specific quality checks).
  • Proven experience in data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation.
  • Mastery of creating reconciliation and validation reports.
  • Good understanding of data structures in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, related to modules FI, CO, PS, FM-BCS, MM, SD, PM, HR.
• For both profiles:
  • Analytical mindset and ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical profiles (business managers, project managers, functional consultants, technical consultants, technical architects).
  • Able to work effectively both in a team and independently, providing clear and concise progress reports.
  • Language: French (read, spoken, and written) is mandatory.
  • On-site work is mandatory (1 day of telework possible per week for part-time and the possibility of 2 days of telework for full-time); during certain phases (training/testing, go-live, post go-live support, etc.), full-time on-site presence may be required by the project manager.

Practical Details:

Location: TEC - Namur
Work regime: part-time until the end of 2026, then full-time.

Duration:

As soon as possible - 31/03/2029 31 months (full time)
