Next Ventures is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join a major Utilities transformation programme in Brussels. The role is during the Build phase, with hybrid work and 3 days onsite per week.

Initial 6-month contract with likely extensions. You will develop and deliver SAP ABAP solutions, translate functional specs into robust developments, build reports, interfaces and enhancements, and support testing and defect resolution while collaborating with functional teams, architects and

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SAP ABAP developments in transformation projects.
• Strong ABAP knowledge including ABAP Objects, interfaces and debugging.
• Utilities / SAP IS-U experience is essential.
• S/4HANA experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

Role

We are looking for an experiencedSAP ABAP Developerto join a majorUtilities transformation programme, entering the project during theBuild phase.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality SAP solutions, working closely with functional consultants, architects and wider project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP solutions usingABAP.
• Translate functional and technical specifications into robust developments.
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and other custom objects.
• Support unit/integration testing and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing developments.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams throughout the Build phase.

Key Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as anSAP ABAP Developer.
• Experience working on SAP transformation/implementation projects.
• Strong ABAP development skills, includingABAP Objects, enhancements, interfaces and debugging.
• Utilities / SAP IS-U experience is essential.
• S/4HANA experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work3 days per week onsite in Brussels.
