Médiane Benelux seeks a UI Tester / Test Manager for a project modernizing a critical railway traffic and safety software system. The role shifts between tester and technical test manager as we migrate from legacy C to Rust components, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities include designing tests, writing documentation, supporting the development team, creating specs, executing manual tests, and automating where possible. Strong Dutch, French and English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
• Experience in server-side and client-side software testing.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of Python and test automation.
• Experience with Rust is a plus (C or Java acceptable).
• Knowledge of EN50128 or DO178 is an asset.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyse, design, document, and validate software functionalities.
• Write technical documentation for software modules and the system.
• Support the development team by adding value at each stage of the software development cycle.
• Write test specifications based on analyses, architecture, and design.
• Execute manual test cases and automate where possible.
• Document test results and improve existing test solutions.
