Ghent University seeks an organized researcher to coordinate the MINOS network, manage its online presence, and oversee communications activities. The role includes editorial work on the Working Paper series and preparation of grant proposals.

The candidate will contribute to webinar planning, conference organisation, and dissemination of sanctions research. A relevant PhD is required, with publication experience preferred.

• Thesis-based doctorate in law, political science or economics.
• Proven track record of publication related to restrictive measures (sanctions).

YOUR TASKS

• Coordinating the research activities of the Multidisciplinary International Network on Sanctions (MINOS)
• Managing and updating the MINOS website and social media accounts
• Managing the MINOS monthly newsletter
• Editing the MINOS Working Paper series
• Organising MINOS webinars and setting the agenda for future MINOS webinar series
• Participating in the organisation of the MINOS annual conference
• Drafting grant funding applications to support the network's activities

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You hold a thesis-based doctorate in law, political science or economics
• You have proven track record of publication in relation to restrictive measures (sanctions).

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

• We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 1/11/2026 to 31/10/2027
• Your contract will start on 1/11/2026 at the earliest.
