Jas Gujral in Belgium is seeking a Mobile React Software Engineer with a strong background in TypeScript, NodeJS, React and React Native to deliver high quality, reusable code and UI components for long-term projects.

This role offers remote work with a 6-12 month contract, daily rate £350-£550, and exposure to GraphQL, RESTful APIs, testing patterns, CI/CD pipelines and data visualization tools like d3.js.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript conventions and patterns for frontend and backend with NodeJS.
• Experience with React and React Native.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Understanding of GraphQL and RESTful services.
• Ability to work independently and learn new technologies quickly.
• Focus on delivering high-quality, reusable code and UI.
• Nice to have knowledge of redux, sagas and react-router/navigation (RN).
• Familiarity with CSS-in-JS patterns.
• Knowledge of functional programming concepts (hooks, immutability).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and Neo4j.
• Experience with building/CI-CD pipelines (webpack, metro, linting, prettier, circle-ci).
• Experience with data visualization libraries like d3.js.
