YO IT Consulting is seeking a Geospatial Analysis Specialist for a remote contract role. You will design, manage, and optimize spatial data workflows in QGIS, automate tasks with PyQGIS, and produce professional maps for decision support. Strong Python skills and experience with coordinate systems are essential. Remote collaboration with distributed teams is expected.

Qualifications

Experience with QGIS and spatial databases across projects.
Strong Python skills with PyQGIS automation.
Understanding of coordinate systems and data transformation.
Experience in plugin development or scripting for QGIS.

Ability to produce professional cartographic outputs.
Great organizational skills with multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

Design, manage, and maintain spatial databases and ensure data integrity across projects.
Conduct advanced geoprocessing and spatial modeling using QGIS.
Develop and maintain QGIS plugins and extensions.
Automate geospatial workflows using Python (PyQGIS).
Prepare high-quality maps and visualizations for reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
