Jobgether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer in Belgium to lead testing across the full software development lifecycle in a remote-first setup. You will build and evolve automated frameworks, use AI responsibly to generate test cases, and collaborate with product teams and clients to ensure stable releases.

The role blends functional testing, automation, and DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Automation QA/Testing roles.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright and JavaScript.
• Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Proficient in BDD with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Strong knowledge of OO programming and web tech (HTML/jQuery).
• Ability to write SQL for data validation and work in Linux environments.
• Interest in DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins/Bamboo/GitHub Actions).
• Experience using AI tools to improve testing and documentation.
• Ability to adapt to new languages, tools, and stacks.
• Knowledge of Agile/XP practices and pair testing.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end testing across the SDLC within a CD environment.
• Plan and execute functional and automated testing; develop test scenarios.
• Build and evolve automation frameworks with modern tech.
• Use AI for smarter test case generation and documentation.
• Develop automated test scripts; troubleshoot failures and improve suites.
• Understand user behavior; support stability, reliability, and safe deployments.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand systems and roadmaps.
• Work with developers in a DevOps culture sharing release ownership.
• Contribute to programming, cloud infra, and testing environments as needed.
• Apply Agile/XP and software craftsmanship to improve testing practices.
• Share knowledge and foster engineering excellence across teams.
