Keystone Solutions seeks a Functional Analyst consultant to support a Real-Time Operations client. You will transform business requirements into detailed functional specifications, define data flows, and ensure testable acceptance criteria for real-time incident management.

You will work on-site with client teams, reviewing and refining requirements, and collaborating with architects, developers and testers to deliver clear specifications within our consultancy framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in functional analysis within the last 8 years, including production of functional specifications such as features, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and system behaviour.
• Experience specifying or analysing system-to-system integrations: REST or SOAP APIs, or message- or event-based interfaces, including payload structure (JSON/XML) and error handling.
• Ability to write SQL queries independently (SELECT, JOIN, aggregation, filtering) to investigate data, validate business rules or qualify defects.
• Proficiency in English at C1 level; Dutch or French at B2 or above for workshops, defect reviews, and day-to-day interaction.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to an Incident Management Programme to improve real-time incident handling, communication, and workflow management.
• Review incoming business and user requirements for completeness and feasibility; question ambiguities with precise prompts.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications including features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and system behaviour.
• Define interfaces and data flows; specify error handling and latency considerations for real-time interoperability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and testers to maintain clear, feasible specifications and support implementation and testing.
• Maintain project documentation and participate in defect reviews, UAT campaigns, and ongoing governance as a Keystone Solutions consultant.
