Akkodis is seeking a System Designer - Onboard Signaling to adapt and specify signaling systems (ERTMS/ETCS and legacy tech) for strategic railway projects. You will translate customer needs into structured requirements and ensure safety, reliability, and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities include analysis, specification, integration, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver a robust signaling solution across the railway infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Initial professional experience or strong interest in railway, aerospace, defense, or safety-critical industry.

Responsabilités

• Analyze customer documentation and requirements.
• Identify gaps between needs and generic solutions.
• Collaborate with Development Center to define adaptations.
• Support validation and implementation by software teams.
• Maintain requirements traceability across project documentation.
• Produce system and subsystem specifications.
• Define system architecture and interfaces.
• Configure data and equipment parameters per design principles.
• Configure test benches and validate solution in lab.
• Participate in onboard investigations and track-to-train testing.
• Collaborate with RAM, Safety, Cybersecurity, Software, and V&V teams.
• Organize and participate in technical reviews.
