Altor Solutions is seeking an Inspector Packer in the Molding department to perform production, inspection and packing of products and report to Quality or Production Supervisors when standards are not met.

You will inspect finished products with scales and calipers, pack them securely, and enter data into the ERP system, while maintaining safety, housekeeping and daily production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 3–6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to read, write and understand basic math
• Integrity and accountability are essential
• Attention to safety, housekeeping and quality standards

Responsabilités

• Removes product from conveyor belt and places product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Packs product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Uses heavy-duty tape machines to cut tape and wrap product for storage delivery.
• Lifts and moves completed boxes or bags to pallets or designated locations.
• Reads and follows packing instructions on Quality/Production Data sheets and reports issues to supervisors.
• Completes Operator Production/Quality Reports and packing reports when required.
• Performs visual inspections and uses scales, steel rule, and calipers to ensure quality; notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and reports safety or quality concerns.
• Aids in material handling and assists others as needed.
• Operates production lines to inspect, pack and count products per standards; can work up to 60 parts per minute and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Enters data properly in ERP and follows lockout/tag out policies.
