Responsabilités

• Onderhandelen en controleren van inkoopvoorwaarden met bestaande leveranciers.
• Actief zoeken naar nieuwe leveranciers en kansen, zowel in België als in het buitenland.
• Aankopen beheren voor meerdere leveranciers of productlijnen.
• Voorraadbeheer van het hoofdmagazijn en filialen.Volgen van inkooporders en tijdig signaleren van afwijkingen.
• Beheren en updaten van product-, leveranciers- en logistieke data in het ERP-systeem.
• Coördineren van aftersales en retouren, inclusief garantieclaims en retouren van niet-stock items.
• Bijdragen aan ideeën voor verbeteringen in inkoop, voorraadorganisatie en administratieve processen.

Description du poste

As a Purchase Officer, you will help ensure a smooth, accurate and well-planned procurement process within a technical wholesaler with a strong logistics operation. Based in Izegem, you will eventually take charge of one or more product categories and ensure a good balance between commercial agreements, stock availability and administrative accuracy.

Your role is varied and combines operational oversight with more strategic input. You will build relationships with existing suppliers, actively seek out new partners and, at the same time, monitor the day-to-day flow of purchasing, stock and after-sales. You maintain an overview, take the initiative and quickly identify where processes can be organised more efficiently or effectively.

Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:

• Negotiating and monitoring purchasing terms with existing suppliers.
• Actively seeking out new suppliers and opportunities, both in Belgium and abroad.
• Independently managing purchases for a number of suppliers or product lines.
• Monitoring stock management for the main warehouse and branches.
• Monitoring purchase orders to ensure they are processed correctly and flagging any discrepancies in good time.
• Managing and updating product, supplier and logistics data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate after-sales and returns, including warranty claims and returns of non-stock items.
• Contribute ideas for improvements in purchasing, stock organisation and administrative processes.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een nauwkeurige en zelfstandige professional met een eerste ervaring binnen technische aankoop. Je beschikt idealiter over een bachelor diploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring, en je voelt je thuis in een omgeving waar administratie, overleg en opvolging samenkomen.

Je herkent jezelf in iemand die analytisch werkt, snel schakelt en gestructureerd blijft onder druk. Je combineert een commerciële mindset met oog voor efficiëntie en correcte opvolging. Daarnaast ben je vlot in communicatie en durf je initiatief nemen wanneer een situatie actie vraagt.

Wat we van jou verwachten:

• Bachelor denkniveau of gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen aankoop.
• 3-5 jaar relevante werkervaring.
• Sterke kennis van Excel en vlotte omgang met Office-toepassingen.
• Snel wegwijs in een ERP-pakket of bereidheid om je daarin vlot in te werken.
• Analytisch inzicht en een oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel intern als extern.
• Proactieve houding en gevoel voor verantwoordelijkheid.
• Structuur, nauwkeurigheid en een sterke opvolgingsmentaliteit.
• Ervaring met voorraadbeheer, leveranciersopvolging of aftersales is een troef.
