V-IT NV is seeking a Project Manager Business in Brussels to lead BCM simplification initiatives and drive process improvements across stakeholder groups. The role requires strong Dutch, French, and English communication, and expertise in business continuity with multi-stakeholder coordination.

You will work on delivering defined objectives, managing workshops, creating dashboards, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes. A 50% telework arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of project management and/or business continuity experience.
• Mandatory experience in multi-stakeholder projects.
• Proven track record in process optimization and efficiency initiatives.
• Experience in business continuity management and implementation.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement simplification initiatives to streamline BCM processes.
• Review BCM processes and deliverables and propose improvements.
• Engage with BCM & CI teams to gather requirements and align.
• Facilitate workshops to define objectives, milestones and success criteria.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
• Prepare status reports and management updates for BCM team.
• Monitor risks, dependencies and issues; propose mitigations.
• Act as primary contact for project inquiries and coordination.
• Support change management and communication for adoption of improvements.

Project Manager Business

Location: Brussels

Start Date: 14/09/2026

End Date: 12/03/2027

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement simplification initiatives to streamline BCM processes, reduce administrative burden, and improve stakeholder experience.
• Review existing BCM processes and deliverables (e.g., Business Recovery Plans and processes) and propose pragmatic improvements.
• Engage with BCM & CI team members to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to collect input, challenge existing practices, and formalize project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and management updates for the BCM Management Team.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and issues, and propose mitigating actions where required.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all questions related to the projects under your responsibility.
• Support change management and communication activities to ensure successful adoption of implemented improvements.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Strong written and spoken communication skills
• French: Strong written and spoken communication skills
• English: Strong written and spoken communication skills

Education and Certifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Certification in Program Management: Agile, Prince2, or equivalent
• Certification by an accredited institution in Business Continuity is an asset (BCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer)

Experience and Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in project management and/or business continuity
• Mandatory experience in project management involving multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization, simplification, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Mandatory experience in business continuity management and implementation
