We ARE Renewables in the offshore wind sector seeks a Project Engineer T&I to lead the engineering, preparation and execution of jackets and monopiles. You will collaborate with diverse teams and may operate from Belgium or the Netherlands.

You will develop method statements, review detailed reports, and manage planning, budgeting and cost control while coordinating with international colleagues. Start ASAP and relocation to Belgium are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, dredging or marine engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years’ offshore wind farm installation experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Belgium and work offshore/on vessels.
• Fluent in English, strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Engineer, prepare and execute projects, including method statements.
• Develop work-packs for the preparatory phase.
• Review engineering reports, procedures and method statements.
• Lead on site, optimize and implement method statements.
• Support planning, reporting, budgeting and cost monitoring.
• Coordinate with multi-national project teams.

We ARE looking for a Project Engineer T&I for one of our customers active in the offshore wind industry. You will play a key role in the preparation and execution of foundation installation on offshore wind farm projects like jackets and monopiles.

You will collaborate with employees of different nationalities and disciplines and you will be located in the Netherlands or Belgium. You will not be managing a team of project engineers. We are currently looking for an experienced Engineer who can manage (large) offshore transport and installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of our projects;
• Developing method statements for our works before we go execute them offshore;
• Reviewing and checking work from the engineering department;
• Reviewing detailed engineering reports, procedures, manuals and method statements;
• Developing work-packs for the preparatory phase of the project;
• When on site, optimizing and implementing the method statements in practice and taking the Lead when necessary;
• Taking care of ad hoc needs of the project and actively respond to questions from the project management;
• Ensuring planning, reporting, budget control and cost monitoring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / Master degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Dredging or Marine Engineering;
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working both office and offshore based on offshore wind farm installation projects.
• Experience in offshore wind farm installation projects;
• Willingness to work abroad on vessels or projects and in the office;
• Willing to permanently relocate to Belgium;
• Fluent in verbal and written English;
• Excellent team player and a good communicator.
