• Coordinate end-to-end readiness and operation of automated-driving deployment across Europe.
• Translate EU market, regulatory, safety, data, vehicle and performance requirements into an integrated operational plan.
• Integrate and follow up schedules, dependencies, risks, owners and decisions across engineering, operations, legal, privacy and quality teams.
• Coordinate controlled road-test operations, including permits, trained drivers, fleet health, maintenance, logistics, remote support and on-site support.
• Support vehicle-data collection operations, including upload stations, removable-media logistics, cloud environments and access controls.
• Coordinate activities related to AD/ADAS validation, field issue investigation and follow-up to resolution.
• Contribute to coordination of GDPR, EU Data Act, EU AI Act and UN-R171 with specialist teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication, escalation and technical reporting to engineering and management stakeholders.

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and is therefore welcoming a new Engineering Program Manager for an Automated Driving Deployment within an Automotive key player.

As an Engineering Program Manager, you will contribute to the end-to-end readiness and operation of automated-driving deployment in Europe, working at the intersection of engineering, operations, regulatory, safety, data, vehicle and performance requirements.

You will coordinate the delivery of automated-driving deployment activities across technical and specialist functions, ensuring that issues are properly followed through validation and steady-state operation, with a primary focus on data-collection operations.

Join the R&D organization of a major automotive OEM located

in Brussels, within a project focused on the deployment and operation of automated-driving technologies in Europe.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment involving Engineering, Operations, Legal, Privacy and Quality teams, coordinating technical and operational activities required to ensure the readiness and reliable operation of automated-driving deployment.

The role focuses particularly on data-collection operations and controlled road-test activities, including vehicle readiness, trained drivers, fleet health, maintenance, logistics, remote support, on-site support and vehicle-data management.

This role is particularly suited to a senior engineer or programme professional with a strong understanding of AD/ADAS and automotive operations. You will have the opportunity to work across technical and specialist functions while contributing to the deployment and validation of automated-driving solutions in Europe.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end readiness and operation of automated-driving deployment activities across Europe.
• Translate EU market, regulatory, safety, data, vehicle and performance requirements into an integrated operational plan.
• Integrate and follow up schedules, dependencies, risks, owners and decisions across engineering, operations, legal, privacy and quality teams.
• Coordinate controlled road-test operations, including permits, trained drivers, fleet health, maintenance, logistics, remote support and on-site support.
• Support vehicle-data collection operations, including upload stations, removable-media logistics, cloud environments and access controls.
• Coordinate activities related to AD/ADAS validation, field issue investigation and the follow-up of issues through to resolution.
• Contribute to the coordination of requirements related to GDPR, EU Data Act, EU AI Act and UN-R171 with the relevant specialist functions.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication, structured escalation and technical reporting to engineering and management stakeholders.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience or more, ideally in automotive engineering, AD/ADAS, vehicle testing, technical programme management or a related field.
• Good working knowledge of Automated Driving (AD) and ADAS, including operational design domains, AD architecture, safety concepts and validation.
• Understanding of model training/retraining and field issue investigation within an AD/ADAS environment.
• Experience with road-test operations, including vehicle readiness, test drivers, fleet management, maintenance and logistics.
• Understanding of vehicle-data collection and data operations, including data transfer, upload processes, removable media and cloud environments.
• Practical understanding of GDPR, EU Data Act, EU AI Act and UN-R171, with the ability to coordinate these topics with specialist teams.
• Strong programme leadership and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to manage dependencies, risks, responsibilities and decisions.
• Excellent technical communication, reporting and structured escalation skills.
