Aquafin NV in Genk seeks a Procestechnieker Waterzuivering to join a close-knit team addressing domestic wastewater treatment in the Genk region. You will oversee maintenance and operation of treatment plants and pump stations, perform electrical and mechanical checks, take water samples, and analyse results.

You will also handle SAP-based administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements. We value a hands-on mindset, safety focus, and willingness to grow through Aquafin's Technician

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electromechanics and industrial electricity is essential.
• Motivation to help the environment and society.
• Curious and eager to quickly learn new things and contribute ideas.
• Ability to take responsibility and work both in a team and independently.
• Team player open to different opinions and collaborative problem solving.
• Willing to work in a standby system (weekends and nights) once trained.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and SAP; administrative tasks are expected.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance and management of water treatment installations and pumping stations in Genk region.
• Work with the team to ensure optimal purification process, including electrical and mechanical checks and sampling.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns such as clogged pumps and faulty sensors and adjust process as needed.
• SAP administration and various digital tasks and laboratory work to keep duties varied.
