As a Principal Scientist - Synthetics Chromatography, you will join the Analytical Method & Stability Center (AMSC) within the Analytical Development department, which is part of the Therapeutics Development & Supply organization within J&J Innovative Medicine. The AMSC mission is to strengthen product understanding and support drug development by combining strong analytical science, end‑to‑end stability expertise, and close project integration.
To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly motivated Principal Scientist who is passionate about groundbreaking analytical sciences and innovation to have impact on drug development of synthetic modalities to transform patients’ lives. In this laboratory-based position, you will be a key analytical expert developing and applying state‑of‑the‑art chromatographic and High‑Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) methods to analyse and characterise active pharmaceutical ingredients, drug products, impurities, and degradation products throughout the product lifecycle. Combining scientific expertise with a strong data‑centric approach, you will harness advanced analytics and digital technologies to generate insights, solve complex analytical challenges, and support strategic decision‑making. You will also play a leading role in implementing innovative, digitally enabled analytical platforms that shape the future of pharmaceutical development.
