adesso Belgium is expanding with a Power Platform Solution Architect role in Brussels. You will design and deliver low-code enterprise solutions, integrate with Microsoft 365 and external systems, and drive governance and ALM across projects. You will mentor teams and ensure user adoption with strong collaboration across stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years of Power Platform experience, deep technical knowledge, and a drive to innovate using AI features and Copilot within the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building solutions on Microsoft Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Power Platform components and architecture.
• End-to-end solution design including identity management, access control, and performance considerations.

To strengthen our company growth, Solutions TEAM, we are looking for a Power Platform Solutions Architect!

Your role

As a Power Platform Solution Architect, you will be the driving force behind designing and delivering modern low-code solutions. In this role:

• Solution Design & Development: You will envision and architect end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages) to streamline business processes and solve complex problems. This includes building custom applications (canvas and model-driven apps), automating workflows, and creating insightful dashboards that meet customer requirements.

• Integration & Innovation: You will integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services (like SharePoint Online, Teams) and external systems or APIs. You ensure data flows securely between systems using tools like Azure Logic Apps or custom connectors. You stay up to date on the latest features (e.g. Microsoft Dataverse, AI Builder, Copilot) and leverage them to provide innovative, AI-enabled capabilities to the business.

• Governance & Best Practices: You will establish and enforce best practices for Power Platform usage across the organization. This includes setting up proper ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) using Azure DevOps, maintaining environment strategies, managing security roles and permissions (using Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID), and ensuring solutions comply with data governance policies (Microsoft Purview/data loss prevention). You act as a Center of Excellence leader, implementing governance guardrails and guidelines for citizen developers and pro developers alike.

• Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and users to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications. You provide expert guidance and feasibility assessments, ensuring the proposed solutions align with business goals and IT standards. Throughout projects, you collaborate with other technical teams (developers, cloud engineers, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.

• Project Leadership: You will lead the technical delivery of Power Platform projects, overseeing the complete project lifecycle from design and development to testing, deployment, and support. You coordinate with project managers to meet quality, timing, and budget requirements. You also mentor and support development teams, conducting code reviews or solution reviews to ensure maintainability and performance.

• User Enablement & Support: You will champion user adoption of Power Platform solutions. This involves preparing training sessions or demo workshops to empower end-users and citizen developers. You provide tier-3 support and expert troubleshooting for the solutions you architect, and guide the team in debugging and resolving complex issues.

• Continuous Improvement: Together with your team, you drive continuous improvement. You monitor solution performance and user feedback to identify enhancements. You keep abreast of evolving Power Platform capabilities and industry best practices, proactively introducing improvements to keep the digital solutions landscape modern and efficient.

Your profile

• Work Experience: You have a strong background with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and building solutions on Microsoft Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies. You’ve played a lead role in multiple Power Platform implementations, developing both canvas and model-driven apps and automating processes with flows.

• Technical Expertise: You possess deep knowledge of the Power Platform components and architecture. You are skilled in data modeling with Dataverse and integrating Power Apps/Automate with other systems and databases. Experience with Azure services (such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus) and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams) is essential to build scalable enterprise solutions.

• Solution Architecture: You think in terms of end-to-end architecture. You can design sustainable, secure, and scalable solutions, considering aspects like identity management, access control, and performance. You are comfortable defining technical architectures that incorporate custom connectors, API integrations (including Microsoft Graph), and have a good understanding of application lifecycle management for Power Platform solutions.

• Governance & Strategy: You have hands‑on experience with Power Platform governance and best practices. Perhaps you have helped establish a Center of Excellence or implemented governance frameworks (environments strategy, DLP policies, monitoring). You understand the importance of compliance and have utilized tools or practices to ensure data is properly managed and secured in Power Platform implementations.

• Problem-Solving & Innovation: You have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. You can quickly diagnose issues in solutions and are adept at debugging technical problems. You are also innovative and curious – always exploring new features (for example, Power Platform AI capabilities or Copilot) and figuring out how they can benefit your solutions.

• Communication & Leadership: You are a confident communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and can coordinate between business stakeholders and development teams. Your leadership skills allow you mentor junior developers or citizen developers, fostering best practices and elevating the overall team capability.

• Education & Certification: You preferably hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Microsoft certifications relevant to Power Platform (e.g., PL‑600 Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, PL‑400 Developer, PL‑900 Fundamentals) or Azure certifications are a plus, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and continuous learning.

• Dutch and/or French native speaker, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
