BAM FM is looking for a Planner to manage project planning in Belgium, particularly in Brussels. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in (engineering) architecture or civil engineering and have extensive experience in general contracting within the building sector. The role includes project planning, ensuring feasibility, and reporting to management. Candidates should be fluent in Dutch, have a basic knowledge of French and be proficient in MS Project. BAM Interbuild is the building specialist of choice within Belgium, primarily for the Flemish and Brussels regions. Projects such as the MAS and the Havenhuis in Antwerp, and the Finance Tower, the NATO headquarters, and the Résidence Palace in Brussels will certainly ring a bell.

Within BAM Interbuild's execution team, we are currently looking for a Planner to join our team.

Function

• You take care of formatting, adjusting and managing the planning of various projects in progress, this includes detailed planning, short term, as well as long term planning.
• You work closely with your colleagues in execution and ensure that the planning is always up to date with reality and above all feasible. If necessary, you raise the alarm in good time when feasibility is threatened.
• You clearly visualize all progress of the works and transparently compare with the predetermined schedule.
• You build in "milestones" and reserves and explore how these reserves can be increased on a project-by-project basis.
• You will report planning to management and collect all overarching data to arrive at relevant insights, in collaboration with Digital Construction colleagues.
• You organize your own agenda and operate from the different sites in Brussels and Flanders, and from our headquarters in Antwerp.

Profile

• You have a degree in (engineering) architecture, civil or industrial engineering, giving you sufficient construction knowledge.
• You have extensive experience within general contracting in the building sector and have knowledge of execution.
• No matter how complex tasks are, you always get them organized efficiently and work in a structured and precise manner. In addition, you have a great sense of responsibility.
• You work proactively and are driven to find the best solution to a problem.
• Your enthusiasm is contagious and motivating! You convince your colleagues of the optimal planning strategy.
• You are critical to gather the correct information in this way.
• You have an excellent knowledge of MS Project and are fluent in various PC applications.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch and a basic knowledge of French (writing).
