Amaris Consulting is looking for a Piping Design Engineer or CAD Drafter with strong expertise in industrial piping and 3D design to work on challenging projects in Belgium. You will design and model piping systems, develop 3D models of piping, steel structures and cable trays, and ensure compliance with standards.

In this role you will produce GA drawings, piping isometrics and MTO/BOMs, perform clash detection with Navisworks, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through the project

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Piping or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in piping design, CAD drafting or mechanical design within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial piping, P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks Manage.
• Analytical mindset, precision and strong attention to detail.
• French: Fluent. English: Good professional level.

Responsabilités

• Design and model industrial piping systems based on P&IDs, process data and site information.
• Develop detailed 3D models of piping, steel structures and cable tray systems.
• Integrate equipment such as pumps, skids, valves and heat exchangers.
• Design and optimise pipe supports and piping routes.
• Produce GA drawings, piping isometrics, detailed drawings and MTO/BOMs.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design interfaces using Navisworks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
