Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Mid/Senior Penetration Tester to join an Offensive Security team serving clients across Belgium. You will perform deep-dive, manual security assessments across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments, going beyond automated scans.

Responsibilities include planning sophisticated tests, manual exploitation, remediation guidance, and clear reporting to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in penetration testing or offensive security.
• OSCP/OSWE/OSEP required; CEH/OSCE/OSWE/OSEP/CRTO a strong plus.
• Strong scripting ability in Python or PowerShell.
• In-depth knowledge of OWASP Top 10, AD attack paths, and cloud security.
• Experience with common offensive tooling like Cobalt Strike, Burp Suite Pro, Metasploit.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is advantageous for client work.

About the Role

We're hiring an Mid / Senior Penetration Tester Specialist to join an Offensive Security team serving clients across Belgium.

In this role, you will go beyond basic automated scanning to conduct deep-dive, manual security assessments across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Testing: Plan and execute sophisticated penetration tests across web applications, mobile apps, network infrastructure, APIs, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Manual Exploitation: Use creative, manual hacking techniques to bypass security controls and identify flaws that automated scanners miss.

Remediation Guidance: Provide clear, actionable, and developer-friendly guidance to help engineering teams remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Reporting & Communication: Write comprehensive technical reports and present findings confidently to both technical teams and non-technical business executives.

Mentorship: Act as a technical resource and mentor for junior level security engineers.

Process Improvement: Help mature our security testing methodologies, develop custom tools/scripts to automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to threat modeling exercises.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in penetration testing, or offensive security
• OSCP or OSWE or OSEP required; CEH, OSCE, OSWE, OSEP, or CRTO a strong plus
• Strong scripting/programming ability (Python, C, Power Linux, or similar)
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Active Directory attack paths, and cloud security

misconfigurations

• Experience with common offensive tooling (Cobalt Strike, Burp Suite Pro, Silver, Metasploit)
• Fluent English; French or Dutch a strong advantage for local client work
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites across Belgium
