Rud Pedersen Public Affairs is seeking a motivated trainee for a 6-month paid internship in Brussels. You will support the Policy Communications practice by contributing creative ideas and implementing strategies across paid, owned, shared, and earned channels.

You will draft concept notes, translate policy texts to bite-sized messages, and work with policy, creative teams and partners. A relevant degree and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in political/communications fields.
• Passion for EU affairs and understanding of EU policymaking process.
• Affinity for written word and importance of communication objectives.
• Mother-tongue English proficiency.
• Strategic mindset with SMART objectives.
• Experience managing communications channels is a plus.
• Natural curiosity to translate outputs into client outcomes.
• Press or social media savvy with Brussels agenda awareness.

Responsabilités

• Support Policy Communications by contributing creative ideas to client campaigns.
• Implement communications strategies blending channels to meet objectives.
• Draft concept notes for executions (paid media, events, press engagement).
• Translate complex policy texts into bite-sized messages.
• Craft messages for paid, owned, shared, and earned media channels.
• Manage databases (journalists and stakeholders).
• Collaborate with policy, creative teams and partner agencies; briefings.
• Manage workflows and processes within projects.
