Amcor, a global leader in responsible packaging, is seeking an Operations Planner in Roeselare, Belgium. You will optimize production capacity utilization, coordinate with Production, R&D, Maintenance, Logistics, Purchasing and Sales to meet customer lead times.

On-site role with flex hours and close teamwork. Responsibilities include scheduling production orders, preparing weekly plans, managing raw materials and forecasts with central Purchasing and R&D, and ensuring accurate production

Qualifications

• Higher diploma with relevant experience in production and/or Supply Chain planning.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Analytical and numerical abilities; accuracy and proactivity.
• Ability to cope with pressure and changing conditions.
• Dutch and English communication proficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Navision ERP.

Responsabilités

• Plan production orders per machine and adjust daily/weekly schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Maintenance, Logistics, Purchasing and Sales.
• Manage raw materials and stock levels; forecast with central teams.
• Prepare and accompany planning discussions in weekly operations meetings.
• Ensure accurate production documents, labels and related admin tasks.

Operations Planner (m/v/x)

Als operations planner ben je verantwoordelijk voor het realiseren van een optimale inzet van de beschikbare productiecapaciteit met respect voor de gewenste levertijd aan de klant. Afroepen van grondstoffen en een strak voorraadbeheer vormen een actief onderdeel van jouw job. Om alles goed te coördineren heb je dagelijks contact met diverse interne afdelingen zoals Productie, R&D, Maintenance, Logistiek, Aankoop en Sales. Je rapporteert aan de Supply Chain manager.

Jouw taken

Productieplanning:

• Inplannen en opvolgen van productieorders per machine (extrusie)
• Opstellen en aanpassen van dag- en weekplanningen in functie van dringendheid, productieparameters, onderhoudswerkzaamheden, R&D proeven en beschikbaarheid van grondstoffen
• Bevestigen van orders richting verkoop
• Voorbereiden en toelichten van de planning tijdens de wekelijkse operations meeting.
• Je wordt hierin ondersteund door de Specification Specialist die de blends aanstuurt en de Supply chain assistant die zorgt voor de praktische verwerking van de productiebonnen, labels, etc

Voorraad- en grondstoffenbeheer:

• Aansturen van afroepen en aankopen via het MRP-systeem
• Opvolgen van voorraden, inventarissen en doelstock per maand
• Opstellen en administratief opvolgen van bestelbonnen
• Opstellen van forecasts voor grondstoffen, masterbatches en kokers in samenwerking met centrale aankoop en R&D.
• Controleren van facturen en behandelen van leveranciersklachten

Jouw profiel

• Hoger diploma aangevuld met relevante ervaring in productie- en/of Supply Chain planning. Je hebt interesse in chemie en/of kunststoffen.
• Je bent sterk in plannen en organiseren, je behoudt ook overzicht in een uitdagende omgeving.
• Je bent analytisch en cijfermatig sterk. Je bent nauwkeurig en werkt proactief.
• Je kan goed om met druk en veranderende omstandigheden.
• Vlotte communicatie in het Nederlands, voldoende kennis van het Engels om je professioneel uit te drukken.
• Kennis van MS Office en ERP-systemen (Navision is een pluspunt)
