Infosys in Brussels, Belgium seeks an OpenShift Consultant with 5+ years of IT experience to lead on-prem OpenShift deployment and administration. You will work across compute, network, storage, and security, ensuring robust CI/CD integration and monitoring. The role requires 24x7 support and strong collaboration in an Agile environment.

Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container storage, plus experience with CI/CD and monitoring tools, is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Responsabilités

• Implement OpenShift bare metal on‑premise infrastructure (compute, network, load balancer, storage).
• Administer OpenShift Container Platform (installation, patching, onboarding, SSL, RBAC).
• Work in 24x7 shifts and own OpenShift engineering activities.
• Integrate container storage solutions with OpenShift (e.g., Ceph, Portworx).
• Manage private image repositories (Quay, Nexus, JFrog).
• Develop Prometheus/Grafana dashboards and queries.
• Design OpenShift architecture per app requirements and enable CI/CD via Jenkins.
• Configure OpenShift logging (EFK/Splunk) and security integrations.
• Use Git for version control; raise and review pull requests; follow Agile/Kanban.

Location – Brussels, Belgium

IT experience: 5 + years

Primary Skills: Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, KVM

Secondary Skills: CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, VMWare

• Would be responsible for implementing OpenShift bare metal servers , on-premise, including compute, network, load balancer, storage etc as per application requirements.
• Would be responsible for OpenShift Container Platform administration activities (Installation, Patching, application on-boarding, SSL certificates deployment, identity providers integration, users RBAC, Migration, 3rd Party tools integration with OpenShift cluster )
• Would be responsible for working in 24X7 shifts and owning engineering activities related to OpenShift Container Platform and its eco system
• Should have in depth knowledge on integrating any one of the Container native storage solutions to OpenShift container Platform(Ex: RedHat Gluster FS, Portworx, Ceph, etc..)
• Should have knowledge in managing private docker/image repositories (Quay, Nexus, JFrog, etc...)
• Should have working knowledge on Prometheus, Grafana monitoring tools and developing custom Grafana dashboards and developing Prometheus queries to analyze data
• Would be responsible for designing all elements of OpenShift project as per application requirements and deploying and troubleshooting containerized application on OpenShift clusters using Jenkins CI/D pipeline
• Should have working knowledge on OpenShift logging solutions and related Administration (Ex: EFK stack, Splunk )
• Should be familiar with integrating security solutions to OpenShift Container platform
• Should have working knowledge with git repo and raising and approving pull requests
• Should be familiar with Agile methodology/culture, Kanban way of working
