VERWATER GROUP B.V. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its maintenance department. The role involves preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on installations, visual inspections, minor repairs, and basic welding.

You will coordinate permits and support planned shutdowns, ensuring LMRA and LOTO compliance. The ideal candidate has a technical background in mechanics, 5+ years in mechanical factory maintenance, and strong Dutch language skills.

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanics
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical factory maintenance
• Very good knowledge of Dutch
• VCA basic and driving licence B
• Forklift/overhead crane/breathing protection certificates are a plus
• Independent and responsible; careful handling of materials; eye for safety and quality; stress-resistant and reliable

Responsabilités

• Performing and coordinating preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on installations (combustion installations; pump and pipe systems; filters, valves, compressors, bearings, racks)
• Performing visual inspections, minor repairs and basic welding with electrodes
• Applying for and checking permits before work; supporting and coordinating during planned shutdowns
• Ensuring safety and correct application of LMRA, work permits, Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO)

Your profile

• A technical background in mechanics
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical factory maintenanceVery good knowledge of Dutch
• In possession of VCA basic and driving licence B
• Certificate for forklift, overhead crane and/or independent breathing protection is a great asset
