dear digital is seeking an Odoo Product Owner to lead the Retail & Ecommerce tribe. You own the backlog, priorities, scope, budget and client relationships, guiding a two‑week sprint cadence with a structured delivery method.

You will be hands-on, may also run scrum ceremonies on smaller projects, and ensure value is delivered for clients. You bring 5+ years in product ownership or ERP delivery, with ERP or complex software in client-facing roles, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Product Owner, delivery-owning PM or ERP consultant.
• Delivered ERP or complex software projects in a client-facing role with scope and outcome ownership.
• Able to push back with reasons to maintain client trust.
• Structured approach: backlogs, story points, acceptance criteria and sprint reporting.
• Translate business needs into workable stories and test results yourself.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Own Odoo projects end to end, from first sprint to go-live.

We are looking for an Odoo Product Owner to join our Retail & Ecommerce tribe. At dear digital, the Product Owner is not a coordinator on the side of the project: you own it. The backlog, the priorities, the scope, the budget and the client relationship all sit with you. We run 2-week sprints paired with a 2-week cooldown, following our own delivery method, so you step into a structured way of working instead of having to invent one while the project runs.

What will you be doing?

• Own the product backlog: refine it together with the client, prioritise it with MoSCoW, and make sure every ticket has clear acceptance criteria before anything gets built. No acceptance criteria means no development starts.
• Be the single point of ownership for your projects. Scope, timeline, budget awareness and client-facing coordination are yours.
• Run the four client touchpoints in every cycle: the acceptance criteria session before the sprint, the weekly update during it, the sprint review at the end, and guided testing during cooldown.
• Own the decisions that keep a project healthy: the go or no-go on every release, the rollback call during hypercare, and what happens with a scope request. New scope in means committed scope out, always.
• Guard whether custom development is genuinely needed. Standard Odoo first, custom only where it creates real value.
• Work hands-on with your team. On our project sizes you will also configure and test yourself, not just watch.
• On small and medium projects you take the scrum master role as well: you run the ceremonies and clear the blockers.
• Keep the risk log, decision log and dependency log current, and share them with the client so nothing arrives as a surprise.
• Track velocity and burndown, and use what they tell you to plan the next sprint realistically.
• Run the retrospective and turn the actions into improvements that actually land.

Who are we looking for?

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, delivery-owning project manager or senior ERP consultant.
• You have delivered ERP or complex software projects in a client-facing role, with real responsibility for scope and outcome.
• You are comfortable saying no, and better still at explaining why, so the client ends the conversation trusting you more, not less.
• You are structured: backlogs, story points, acceptance criteria and sprint reporting are second nature.
• You translate a business need into a story a developer can build and a client can accept.
• You are analytical enough to challenge a requirement and hands-on enough to test the result yourself.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.

Bonus points if you:

• Have worked with Odoo, or have configured an ERP yourself.
• Know retail, e-commerce or fashion businesses from the inside.
• Are a certified Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile practitioner.
• Have worked with a client-side single point of contact model before.
