Vulcain Engineering Belgium seeks a Nuclear Fuel Assistant Manager to support long-term spent fuel management on site, coordinating technical aspects of multiple projects and ensuring compliance with stakeholders’ expectations.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in mechanical, process, electrical, or nuclear engineering, have at least 1 year in the nuclear industry, and are fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus, with growth toward project management.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical, process, electrical, or nuclear engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in the nuclear industry.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory; Dutch is a plus.
• Knowledge of nuclear norms, regulations and national stakeholders.

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Nuclear Fuel Assistant Manager to join its team.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Support during the implementation and follow-up of the technical aspects of various projects to ensure the long-term management of spent nuclear fuel on site;
• Long-term planning and ensuring these projects comply with the expectations of all stakeholders
• Management of supply and service contracts related to spent fuel management;
• Support during technical analyses and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers involved in spent fuel management;
• Technical monitoring, schedule compliance, and budget supervision.

ABOUT YOU:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical, process, electrical, or nuclear engineering
• 1 year of experience in the nuclear industry
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory (Dutch is a plus)
• Knowledge of nuclear norms, regulations and national stakeholders
• Willingness to grow as project manager in the long-term
