imec, a world-leading research center in nanotechnology, seeks a Quality Engineer for ASIC New Product Introduction projects at its Leuven headquarters. You will drive quality from early development to robust, high-quality releases, while closing project gates and ensuring procedures are followed.

You will monitor deliverables, manage risks, perform 8D analysis, and liaise with project managers and engineers to align on priorities and changes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on quality engineering in semiconductor/ASIC development.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) environments.
• Knowledge of 8D problem solving, failure analysis and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Close project gates effectively and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Monitor process maturity and compliance with work procedures and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the project team.
• Perform 8D root cause analysis and failure analysis (F/A).
• Coordinate with managers and staff on change requests.
• Proactively drive quality from early development to release.
