Ayesa Digital is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to join our international team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android.

You will work across native and cross‑platform frameworks, collaborate with EU projects, and contribute to modern CI/CD pipelines and app store deployments. English proficiency is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile development with Ionic, React Native, or Flutter.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for mobile/web apps.
• Experience with IDEs such as Android Studio and Xcode.
• Proficiency in Kotlin/Swift and mobile SDKs.
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs for backend integration.
• Experience with SQLite, Realm, or Firebase databases.
• Understanding of offline synchronization for mobile apps.
• CI/CD experience with Fastlane, App Center, or Jenkins.
• Jira and Git experience for project tracking and version control.
• Knowledge of secure data storage and OAuth / biometrics.

Responsabilités

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android, ensuring performance and usability.
• Analyse and document functional and technical requirements per established standards.
• Design database schemas, tables, and data structures.
• Implement offline storage and data synchronization strategies.
• Develop prototypes to validate UX and feasibility with stakeholders.

• Follow coding standards, tests, and CI/CD processes.
• Deploy apps to Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and manage enterprise distributions.
• Produce technical documentation and ensure mobile security best practices.

We are looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join our international team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android, ensuring performance, quality, responsiveness, and usability.
• Analyse and document functional and technical requirements in accordance with established standards and methodologies.
• Participate in the analysis and design of database schemas, tables, and data structures.
• Perform data analysis and modelling tailored to mobile performance and offline synchronisation requirements.
• Develop interactive prototypes to validate user experience and technical feasibility with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications following established coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD processes.
• Design and implement modular and reusable architecture components to support scalability and maintainability.
• Integrate mobile applications with back-end services, REST/GraphQL APIs, and third-party services.
• Implement secure data exchange and mobile-specific security mechanisms.
• Implement mobile-specific functionality including offline storage, threading, performance optimisation, touch-based interfaces, and gesture recognition.
• Define and execute unit, integration, and UI test cases to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Integrate mobile application builds and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in the deployment of mobile applications to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and enterprise distribution channels.
• Ensure applications comply with relevant mobile platform guidelines and deployment requirements.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the application lifecycle.
• Apply mobile security best practices, including secure data storage and authentication mechanisms.
• Participate in meetings with the contracting authority, development teams, stakeholders, and user groups.
• Collaborate with international and multicultural teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Professional experience developing mobile applications using modern frameworks such as Ionic, React Native, or Flutter.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS for mobile and progressive web application development.
• Experience with mobile development environments and IDEs such as Ionic, Android Studio, and Xcode.
• Experience designing and developing web, progressive, native, or hybrid mobile applications.
• Proficiency in native mobile development using Kotlin for Android and/or Swift for iOS, including the corresponding SDKs and development environments.
• Good knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs and experience integrating mobile applications with back-end services.
• Experience working with mobile-friendly databases such as SQLite, Realm, or Firebase.
• Understanding of synchronisation between mobile databases and relational database systems such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools and processes, such as Fastlane, App Center, or Jenkins.
• Experience with application lifecycle management and development tools such as Jira and Git.
• Experience with mobile application build and deployment pipelines.
• Experience deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including an understanding of their respective guidelines and processes.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices, including secure data storage and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and biometric authentication.
• Ability to apply security and cloud best practices throughout the application development and deployment lifecycle.
• Experience integrating mobile application builds into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ability to quickly adapt to new projects, technologies, and development environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to participate in meetings with international and multicultural stakeholders.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French would be considered an additional asset.
• Results-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Minimum level of expertise: Junior.

Optional: One of the following or an equivalent certification: AWS Certified Developer – Associate with a mobile focus, or a vendor-specific certification for iOS or cross-platform mobile development.
