SD Worx Jobs in Belgium is seeking an operator for our food production facility in Dendermonde. You will ensure the smooth running of the production process and keep machines operating efficiently in a refrigerated environment.

The role requires setting machine parameters, monitoring quality, assisting with changeovers, and resolving minor malfunctions. You will also replenish supplies, clean machines, and liaise with technicians and packaging staff.

You are able to work independently, but you also regularly consult with colleagues to ensure a smooth production process.

You do not mind performing physical work.

You have a good command of Dutch and/or English and are able to commute independently to Dendermonde.

Training on-the-job

You will be working in a food company specialized in the processing and storage of a wide range of food products.

As an operator, you are responsible for the smooth running of the production process and ensure that your machines continue to operate efficiently.
You do this by:

• Correctly setting machine parameters
• Monitoring quality and making adjustments to the machine when necessary
• Assisting with machine changeovers for new products
• Independently resolving minor technical malfunctions
• Correctly replenishing supplies
• Cleaning the machines
• Consulting with technicians, packaging staff, team leaders, and others

All of this takes place in a refrigerated environment (approximately 8-10°C), working in a three-shift system, while strictly adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
