Vivid Resourcing partners with a technology consultancy in Antwerp seeking an experienced ML/AI engineer. You will design, deploy, and monitor ML models for energy forecasting and sustainability analytics, while building AI-powered applications to automate environmental insights.

You will develop scalable data pipelines across IoT, weather, energy, and operational data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deploy models on AWS/Azure/GCP with MLOps best practices.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience in Machine Learning/AI engineering or data science.
• Strong Python development skills with production ML deployment experience.
• Familiarity with ML areas: Deep Learning, time-series forecasting, predictive analytics, LLMs, optimisation.

We're partnering with an innovative technology consultancy in Antwerp that's helping organisations accelerate their sustainability goals through advanced AI and Machine Learning.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for energy forecasting, carbon analytics, predictive maintenance, optimisation, and sustainability reporting.
• Build AI-powered applications using Machine Learning and Generative AI to automate environmental insights and support smarter decision‑making.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for IoT, sensor, weather, energy, and operational datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and client stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimise production ML models using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement MLOps best practices to ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable machine learning solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and contribute to innovative client projects across multiple industries.

What We're Looking For

• 2–8 years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, AI Engineering, or Data Science.
• Strong Python development skills with experience deploying ML models into production.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more of:
• Deep Learning
• Time‑Series Forecasting
• Predictive Analytics
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Optimisation Algorithms
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients in a consultancy environment.
