LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join the Benelux Accounting team in Brussels. The role covers Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks for multiple BeNeLux entities, supporting invoice processing, supplier setup, bank statement recording, and intercompany data management.

You will work in a luxury group environment, developing accounting skills, with mentorship and exposure to SAP; internship runs for 6 months starting July 2026.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to analyze financial information.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Proactive attitude and genuine desire to learn about accounting processes and luxury goods industry.

Responsabilités

  • Process and record supplier invoices (with and without PO reference).
  • Manage the shared mailbox: process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Follow up on the approval of purchase invoices.
  • Create and modify suppliers in the system per group procedures.
  • Archive accounting documents regarding the Lux company (handled by external accountant).
  • Record bank statements.
  • Reconcile customer open items: payments vs unpaid invoices.
  • Manage shared mailbox and send reminder emails to customers.
  • Reconcile cash register reports and card payments to Boutique's sales reports.
  • Update follow-up files (project follow-up, databases, group reporting for audit).
  • Prepare audit files: letters for clients, suppliers and banks; download data from SAP.
  • Scan and archive documents on the shared network drive.
