Safran Aircraft Engines Services Brussels is recruiting a Logistic Warehouse Officer to oversee the physical and IT flow of parts in the preparation area and warehouse. You will support production, manage incoming parts, and coordinate transport to test benches and back.

You will handle scrap parts, prioritize module release, ensure clean packaging, and adhere to safety and quality procedures in a two-shift setup with French/Dutch language requirements and English email literacy.

Qualifications

  • Higher secondary or technical education (A2) with logistics understanding.
  • Basic IT skills including Word, Excel and ERP.
  • Willingness to learn and become autonomous within six months.

Responsabilités

  • Provide logistical support for production and anticipate Shop Visit needs.
  • Manage incoming engine parts flow and ensure traceability.
  • Coordinate internal/external transport and handle loading/unloading of engines.
  • Maintain scrap parts management and ensure proper packaging in the store.
  • Follow safety instructions and internal quality/logistics regulations.

We employ over 500 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.The Logistic Warehouse Officer is responsible for the physical flow, the IT flow and the traceability of parts and modules in the preparation area before assembly and in the warehouse. He works in a production environment and reports to the Completion Manager, who in turn reports to the Supply Chain Director.Your role:• You provide logistical support for production, where needed, and anticipate the needs for the realization of the Shop Visit.• You manage the incoming flow of engine parts by ensuring its traceability.• You coordinate the internal and external transport of engines to the test bench and back to the workshop while managing the loading and unloading of engines and modules.• You take care of the management and follow-up of the Scrap parts.• You ensure the management of priorities vis-à-vis the modules to be released.• You guarantee the cleanliness and correct packaging of the parts in the store.• You follow the work and safety instructions specific to the workstation and the company.• You respect the internal quality regulations and the rules of logistics and administrative management of the company.• You inspire and enthuse employees and stimulate teamwork.• You stimulate the sharing of knowledge in the group (including itself).Complementary DescriptionYour role:• You provide logistical support for production, where needed, and anticipate the needs for the realization of the ‘Shop Visit' of an engine.• You manage the incoming flow of engine parts in production by ensuring its traceability. Receipt of parts from the warehouse, storage while awaiting engine reassembly, physical verification of parts and their documents before reassembling each engine• You ensure the management of priorities vis-à-vis the modules to be prepared and released.• You guarantee the cleanliness and correct packaging of the parts in the warehouse per engine.• You follow the work and safety instructions specific to the workstation and the company.• You respect the internal quality regulations and the rules of logistics and administrative management of the company.• You stimulate the sharing of knowledge in the group.• You take initiatives and make proposals in a context of continuous improvement, pro-actively evaluate, coordinate the improvement of current work methods and new technologies as they arise.• You maintain constructive and effective relations with production, configurators and other colleagues.Job RequirementsYour profile:• You hold a higher secondary or technical education (A2) degree or have equivalent experience, with a basic understanding of logistics. A preparatory degree in logistics or a related field is a strong advantage.• You are proficient in IT tools (Word, Excel, ERP) and hold a valid license for lifting equipment.• You strive to become fully operational and autonomous within six months, following a period of training and learning.• You possess strong communication skills, practical thinking, and initiative, while actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts.• You are a team player with an open and adaptable mindset.• You work in a two-shift system: one week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a week from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.• You are fluent in either French or Dutch, have at least a basic understanding of the second national language, and can read and write emails in English.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit.
