FedEx is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician in Belgium to perform maintenance on GSE and material handling equipment. You will execute preventative and curative work orders, log activities, and collaborate with vendors to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills, the ability to read diagrams, and proficiency with maintenance systems. French fluency and a valid driving license are essential, with good English communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform monthly preventative maintenance on GSE and material handling equipment.

• Conduct regulatory inspections as required by law for equipment.
• Log all maintenance activities and update systems and records.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and service delivery.

FXE-EU: Vehicle Maintenance Technician (ID)

Position Summary:

What you will be doing:

• Launch and execute monthly preventative maintenance repair/work orders as per global maintenance system planning for GSE and material handling equipment
• Create curative repair/work orders for curative maintenance and execute work for GSE and material handling equipment
• Launch regulatory inspections as per legal requirements whatever on GSE and material handling equipment as well as on workshop equipment
• Logging maintenance carried out on each asset and maintaining both system and physical records.
• Order works to vendors when applicable and check proper execution
• Collect and sign worksheets from vendors and encode accordingly in global maintenance system
• Request spare parts when necessary
• Ensure to keep workshop in good and safe condition and work safely at all times, following 5S methodology
• Troubleshoot GSE equipment when failure disturbs operations, ensure to remove faulty equipment
• Ensure delivery and assembly of new assets and update global maintenance system accordingly
• Identify cost saving opportunities
• Report identified defects for analysis and further equipment improvement
• Keep a great collaboration with internal customers and communicate in a solution oriented manner
